GM Villari's approach to Kempo was to maintain the style he learned from Nick Cerio. GM Villari also trained in Japanese martial arts, Chinese martial arts, Western boxing,  Shaolin Temple Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Kung Fu, Kempo,in addition to different styles of Karate, as well as the secret art of the White Tiger (Chin Na).  With all the knowledge of the above martial arts, Grand Master Fred Villari founded Shaolin Kempo Karate.

 

GM Cerio taught him 35 combinations which included the Original 21 taught by GM Gascon.  Combo’s 36 – 39 where either GM Cerio’s or inspired by him. GM Villari created combinations 40 – 108 influenced with a flavor of Kung Fu.
